At the end of the fiscal year, which is June 30th, the District’s Certified Public Account begins work to audit the District’s financial statements. The Certified Public Accountant works with District staff and the Board of Trustees in their preparation of the financial assessment. The process usually takes a couple of months to complete after it begins, usually in September. Upon completion, the audit is presented to the Board for their approval and acceptance.
